Sunday Report: Active Cases of COVID-19 continue to Rise in Tennessee; Coffee County has 321

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, August 9. The health department reported 2,127 new cases, bringing the state to 122,712 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 8 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,223 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 80,997 have recovered, an increase of 657 recoveries. Tennessee is at 40,492 active cases.

*Bedford County: 11 died; 928 confirmed/probable cases; 667 recovered; 250 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 147 confirmed/probable cases; 86 recovered; 61 active cases

*Coffee County: 3 died: 545 confirmed/probable cases; 221 recovered; 321 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 330 confirmed/probable; 179 recovered; 147 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 114 confirmed/probable; 78 recovered; 34 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 302 confirmed/probable; 156 recovered; 145 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 63 confirmed/probable; 33 recovered; 30 active cases

*Rutherford County: 54 died; 6,553 confirmed/probable; 3,784 recovered; 2,715 active cases.

*Warren County: 4 died; 530 confirmed/probable; 252 recovered; 274 active cases
