Tennessee COVID-19 Update for August 25

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Tuesday, August 25.

Forty additional coronavirus-related deaths were reported Tuesday. TDH has attributed 1,628 deaths to COVID-19.

Of the total number of cases, 108,035 Tennesseans are now considered recovered from the virus and 35,754 cases remain active.

*Bedford County: 14 died; 1,064 confirmed/probable cases; 813 recovered; 237 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 186 confirmed/probable cases; 140 recovered; 46 active cases

*Coffee County: 6 died: 700 confirmed/probable cases; 406 recovered; 288 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 427 confirmed/probable; 310 recovered; 113 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 142 confirmed/probable; 108 recovered; 32 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 386 confirmed/probable; 240 recovered; 145 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 85 confirmed/probable; 48 recovered; 37 active cases.

*Rutherford County: 67 died; 7,523 confirmed/probable; 5,268 recovered; 2,188 active cases.

*Warren County: 7 died; 745 confirmed/probable; 468 recovered; 270 active cases.
