The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Thursday, May 21. The health department reported 429 new cases, bringing the state to a total of 18,961 cases, a 2% day-to-day increase since Wednesday.
TDH also confirmed four additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 313 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 12,191 have recovered, which calculates to 6,457 active cases in the state.

*Franklin County: 1 died; 44 confirmed; 36 recovered; 1,820 negative tests
*Grundy County: 1 died; 31 confirmed; 26 recovered; 435 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 22 confirmed; 17 recovered; 1,082 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 3 recovered; 319 negative tests
*Rutherford County: 20 died; 930 confirmed; 420 recovered; 9,664 negative tests
*Warren County: 0 died; 16 confirmed; 11 recovered; 1,508 negative tests
