Tennessee COVID-19 Update, Including Area Counties

Tennessee Department of Health confirmed 11,410 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, December 16. This is a new record of daily cases.

There are currently 66,774 active COVID-19 cases in Tennessee, the highest number since the start of the pandemic.

TDH confirmed 53 additional deaths, bringing the total to 5,668.

The state once again reported a new record for current COVID hospitalizations, 2,874 for Wednesday.
