Strong economic growth is expected to continue in Tennessee and the United States during 2020, according to a report from the University of Tennessee.
It will be the 10th straight year of economic growth in the state.
After peaking above 10% in 2009, Tennessee’s unemployment rate drifted down and bottomed out in February 2019 at 3.2% – also better than the national rate.
