Three Arrested after Police Pursuit, Investigation Continues

On Sunday morning Chattanooga Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatch put out a be on the lookout (bolo) for a reckless driver in a white Nissan.

Once Troopers located the vehicle inside Coffee County, it was identified as a vehicle that had been carjacked in Nashville.

A brief pursuit was initiated, and the vehicle crashed through a fence at Clover Lane and Hills Chapel Rd in Manchester.

Three suspects were taken into custody by Manchester Police, one adult and two juveniles.

On Target News has learned that while performing his duties, Captain Nilesh Patel with the Manchester Police was injured during the incident.  

There is an ongoing investigation into this matter and more information could be released at a later time.
