The Tullahoma Utilities Authority board has extended the date of no disconnections for nonpayment until May 25.
No disconnections for nonpayment will be made until May 26 for utilities or LightTube. Customers who have not paid their bills or been approved for a payment plan by TUA will be subject to disconnection for non-payment.
Late penalties also accrue during this time for payments that are made later than the due date. Waiving the late fees for those customers who can show their income was affected or reduced because they could not work will be considered.
The waiving of credit card transaction fees on payments will continue until May 31.
