Tullahoma City Schools are trying to prepare for a hybrid transition if it occurs for students and parents. Those wanting to get involved can donate through the United Way www.highway55unitedway.org and all donations will go towards those programs. If interested in volunteering contact Ashley Abraham at director@highway55unitedway.org. or Pam Bussell at pam@firstchristiantullahoma.org.
If Tullahoma City Schools should be forced to go to the hybrid schedule due to COVID, they would like to set up two programs to help the students.
One would be TELETUTORING and the other would be TELEMENTORING.
Volunteers would require background checks. The background checks would cost $35, so in addition to needing volunteers to assist the students, they would also need donors to provide the funds for the background checks.
If you, or someone in your church/organization would like to volunteer to assist the students, or if you are willing to donate to pay for the background checks, please contact Pam Bussell 455-2200.
At this time, no one knows when/if they will move to the hybrid schedule, but they would like to be prepared to assist the students in any way possible.
