Unemployment Rate Drops in 90 of 95 Counties

Ninety counties Tennessee experienced lower unemployment during the month of February. Four counties recorded an increase in unemployment, while Smith County remained unchanged.

Williamson County continued to have the state’s lowest jobless rate in February at 3.1%, down 0.1 of a percentage point from January.

Cannon 4.3 Jan. 4.1 Feb.

Coffee 4.7 Jan. 4.6 Feb.

Franklin 4.7 Jan. 4.5 Feb.

Grundy 6.9 Jan. 6.3 Feb.

Lincoln 5.3 Jan. 4.6 Feb.

Moore County recorded the second-lowest rate in the state for the month at 3.4%, a 0.4 of a percentage point drop.
