Unemployment Rates Drop in All Tennessee Counties

Each of Tennessee’s 95 counties experienced decreased unemployment in November 2020, according to the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD).

Williamson County had the lowest unemployment rate. At 3.3%, its November rate dropped by 1.3 percentage points when compared to October.

At 3.6%, Moore County had the state’s second-lowest rate for the month. The new figure is 1 percentage point lower than its October rate of 4.6%.

Lake County had the highest rate in the state for November at 8.1 percent.

In Coffee County dropped drastically from 6.5 to 4.6 percent.

Bedford County’s unemployment rate fell from 6.8 in October to 4.9 percent in November.

Cannon County went from 5.9 to 4.1.

Franklin County saw its unemployment fall from 6.1 in October to 4.9 percent in November.

In Grundy County unemployment fell from 8.4 percent to 6.3.

Lincoln County dropped from 7.4 percent to 5.2 and in Warren Co. the unemployment rate dropped 2.1 percent from 7.6 percent in October to 5.5 percent in November.
