Update on Fatal Crash–Name of man Killed in Crash on Thursday Announced

Around 12:30 pm on Thursday afternoon emergency crews were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 near Exit 111B.
According to Manchester Fire and Rescue Chief George Chambers, a Coffee County man collided into the back of a tractor-trailer that was sitting on the shoulder of the roadway.
The driver of the pickup truck died at the scene. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Ralph Reed age 50 of Manchester, TN was pronounced dead at the scene.
Manchester Fire and Rescue, Manchester Police, Coffee County EMS, Sheriff’ deputies, Coffee County EMA, TDOT and THP all worked the scene.
