Updated Tennessee COVID-19 Numbers for August 4

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Tuesday, August 4. The health department reported 1,805 new cases, bringing the state to 112,441 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 25 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,117 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 73,259 have recovered, an increase of 2,381 recoveries.

Tennessee currently has 38,065 active cases.

*Bedford County: 11 died; 877 confirmed/probable cases; 642 recovered; 224 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 126 confirmed/probable cases; 73 recovered; 53 active cases

*Coffee County: 2 died: 421 confirmed/probable cases; 198 recovered; 221 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 286 confirmed/probable; 165 recovered; 117 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 102 confirmed/probable; 68 recovered; 32 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 255 confirmed/probable; 138 recovered; 116 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 44 confirmed/probable; 29 recovered; 15 active cases

*Rutherford County: 53 died; 6,155 confirmed/probable; 3,437 recovered; 2,665 active cases.

*Warren County: 4 died; 429 confirmed/probable; 225 recovered; 200 active cases
