Wild Horses Corralled in Moore County

For the last several weeks, Moore County Sheriff’s department employees have been feeding seven wild horses in the Smith Chapel area in an attempt to catch and remove them from the area. These animals were a major nuisance causing traffic complaints and property damage. The Moore County Sheriff’s Department reported Tuesday afternoon that all the horses were caught over the weekend and have been safely relocated to an area equine rescue.
