The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, November 22.
The health department reported 4,589 new cases and 55 additional deaths. The new death total for Tennessee is now 4,266.
There are 2,065 people currently hospitalized in the state.
At last report one of Tennessee’s largest hospitals, Vanderbilt Medical Center was down to only 6 COVID unit beds available.

In other COVID related new; Grundy County High School will be going virtual beginning November 23rd through December 4th due to so many students and staff being quarantined. Students will return December 7th. This is for the high school only.
