Area Schools Receive STEM Grants

Governor Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Education are awarding start-up grants to fund middle school career and technical education (CTE); science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education; and the expansion of equitable access and participation in early postsecondary opportunities.

Middle School STEM Start-Up Grants-Tullahoma City School District- East Middle School, West Middle School. $6,200 total.

Middle School CTE Start-Up Grants-Warren County Schools-Centertown Elementary K-8, Dibrell Elementary K-8, Eastside Elementary K-8, Irving College Elementary K-8, Morrison Elementary K-8, Warren County Middle School 6-8. $10,000 total.

Early Postsecondary Expansion Grants- Riverdale High School in Rutherford County and Warren County High Schools. $10,000 each.

News and Sports Director for Rooster 101.5 FM, 93.9 The Duck and Whiskey Country 105.1, and 95.9. He is currently the play-by-play voice of the Coffee County Red Raiders (31 years) on The Rooster 101.5 and can be heard M-F broadcasting our local news. Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,947 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
