
On 05/16/2023 at approximately 9:40 PM, a silver/gray SUV pulled into the Trolley Rock gas station parking lot in Belvidere, TN. A male exited the rear passenger side door and walked into the store. The man pulled a pistol from his waistband and went behind the counter. The suspect ordered one female to the ground and ordered the other female to give him the cash from the register. The female clerk put between $450 and $500 into a black plastic bag. The man exited the building with the money and returned to the vehicle. The SUV left the parking lot and drove East on Highway 64.
The description of the suspect is as follows:
Black male, 5’8″ to 5’10”, and fit build. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue shirt, a white long-sleeve undershirt, black pants, shoes, and gloves. He also wore a black full-face mask, sunglasses, and a white towel in his right rear pocket.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department currently does not have the suspect or his accomplice(s) in custody. The clerks were not injured during this incident.
