A Warren County man has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman who was struck and killed in a hit-and-run incident Monday evening on Swan Mill Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 49 year old Gary Driver has been charged with criminal homicide and leaving the scene of a crash with a fatality.
Authorities say 71 year old Mildred Herrin was working in her yard when she was struck by a red pickup truck that had left the roadway.
The vehicle was found Tuesday in a wooded area just south of Viola in Grundy County. Driver was located a short distance from the vehicle and was taken into custody.
