Coffee County Red Raiders defeated the Franklin County Rebels 5-3 on Tuesday at Powers Field in Manchester. Coffee County is now 4-0 overall and 2-0 district.
The game was tied at two, with the Red Raiders batting in the bottom of the sixth when they scored three times.
In the top of the fifth inning, Franklin County Rebels tied things up at two. Gus Gardner drove in one when he doubled.
Timothy Henderson came in relief of Jacob Holder to pick up the win for the Raiders. He struck 4 in two innings of work.
Coffee County totaled five hits, with Carter McKenzie and Caleb Moran collecting two hits to lead the Raiders.
Franklin County had six hits in the game, as Austin Roberts and Gardner had two each.
