The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an incident after two people were discovered deceased after a pursuit Wednesday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. in Coffee County.
The chase began after the driver did not pull over when a state trooper attempted to do a traffic stop.
After the car crashed near the 120 mile-marker it burst into flames.
The trooper chased the driver on foot, and he was later captured and arrested.
The two bodies were located inside the vehicle after the Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene.
According to Coffee County District Attorney, 19 year-old Dane Angelo Fearron from New York was charged by the Tennessee Highway Patrol with 2 counts of vehicular homicide and further charges could be forthcoming.
