Winchester’s Cunningham honored with Vanderbilt Scholarship

Winchester’s very own Jim Cunningham has been honored by having a football scholarship named for him at Vanderbilt University. Jim played football forFranklin County High School and Vanderbilt in the 1950’s and his daughter, Amanda Farnsworth and husband Bob gifted this scholarship to the University in his honor. Petition Asks Franklin County BOE to change Rebel mascot

A move is underway to change the “Rebels” mascot of Franklin County High School, according to Franklin County resident Shanae Williams. Williams has more than 1,400 signatures on her petition.
