Coffee County Middle School traveled to Cowan Thursday night to take on South Middle School and walked away with a pair of victories. In girls action, the Lady Raiders had another quick start leading 30-5 at the half and finished off the Lady Trojans 53-15. The girls move to 2-0 on the season. Natalie Barnes led the way with 17 points and Olivia Vinson had 9 and Addi Sartain added 8 in the win. In boys play, the Red Raiders even their record to 1-1 on the year with a 55-32 win over Trojans. Evan Kirby poured in 18 while teammates Brennan Young and Cole Pippenger added 12 and 10 points respectfully. CCMS will host North Middle School on Monday night.
