City of Tullahoma Employee Service Awards Ceremony

Last week the City of Tullahoma celebrated its outstanding employees at the annual Employee Service Awards ceremony. This event, held on May 7th, 2024, at the Tullahoma Country Club, recognized the dedication, commitment, and exemplary service of city employees who have demonstrated exceptional performance and loyalty to the community.

The Employee Service Awards serve as a testament to the city’s appreciation for its workforce and their invaluable contributions to the betterment of Tullahoma. From public safety to administrative roles, each employee plays a vital role in maintaining the city’s high standards of service delivery and community engagement.

City Administrator Jason Quick expressed his gratitude, stating, “Our employees are the heartbeat of Tullahoma. Their dedication and tireless efforts make our city a better place to live, work, and visit. The Employee Service Awards provide a moment for us to come together and recognize their exceptional contributions.”

The ceremony celebrated a wide range of Years of Service Awards, from 5 years to 35 years, recognizing employees for their continued commitment to the city over the years.

The event underscored the City of Tullahoma’s commitment to fostering a rewarding work environment that values the contributions of its employees and encourages professional growth and development, ensuring that the city continues to thrive and prosper for years to come.

One of Southern Tennessee's most experienced and recognized news broadcasters and play-by-play sportscasters. News and Sports Director for Rooster 101.5 FM, 93.9 The Duck and Whiskey Country 105.1, and 95.9. He is currently the play-by-play voice of the Coffee County Red Raiders (31 years) on The Rooster 101.5 and can be heard M-F broadcasting our local news. Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
