Coffee Co. and Franklin Co. Split games on Tuesday Night

Heard of Rooster 101.5 FM, it was the first ever games in District 6-AAAA for Coffee County basketball on Tuesday night in Manchester.

The Lady Raiders and Raiders hosted Franklin County and split the games with the Rebels. The 9th ranked team in girls roundball, the Lady Raiders were impressive in their 67-30 win over the Rebelettes. Sir Pizza Player of the game Channah Gannon led all scorers with 17 followed by Alivia Reels’s 14 points and Olivia Vinson’s 11.

In boy’s action the Raiders couldn’t get loose on the offensive end of the floor as they fell to Franklin County, 65-55.

Aidan Abellana hit 9 of 10 free-throws to help him lead Coffee County with 17 points and earn the Sir Pizza Player of the Game. Connor Shemwell added 13 and Phinehas Rollman chipped in 10.
