Keri Munn threw a shutout to lead Coffee County Lady Raiders past Lawrence County 6-0 on Tuesday.
In the first inning, Coffee County Lady Raiders got their offense started when Kiya Ferrell scored on a passed ball.
In the 3rd inning the Lady Raider plated runs when Ferrell scored on a error, Justus Turner doubled in Kaitlyn Davis.
Coffee County tallied three runs in the fifth inning. Coffee County Lady Raiders big bats in the inning were led by a walk by Brianna Shelton, a single by Madison Pruitt, and a sac fly by Haidyn Campbell.
Munn pitched Coffee County Lady Raiders to victory. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and no runs while striking out ten.
Land took the loss for Lawrence County. The righthander allowed seven hits and six runs over five innings, striking out four. The Coffee County Lady Raiders collected eight hits on the day. Chesnie Cox and Ferrell collected multiple hits with 2 each to lead Coffee County Lady Raiders. Turner added her RBI double.
Kiya Ferrell was named Crazy Daises Player of the Game.
