Coffee Co., Manchester and Tullahoma Report New Plans–Other Area Schools Also Close

Coffee County, Tullahoma and Manchester City Schools have changed their plans and are now closed through Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
In Manchester: Nutrition services for children 18 and under will be available beginning March 17 from 9 – 11 am at Westwood Elementary, College Street Elementary, Manchester Fire Station 1, and Manchester Fire Station 2.
Also, Director Joey Vaughn says that while we value learning and academics for every student, we understand that student and family safety is the top priority. He added, “we are encouraging families to utilize online and print resources that are available at home to continue student progress. If the situation requires the district to close past Spring Break, specific guidelines and resources will be made available.
Additional information will be posted on local media, social media, and the district website.”

Coffee County Schools will be closed through March 31. Plans are also being made for an alternative curriculum.
Free meals will be served through a drive-thru service at each county school to all children ages 18 & Under. Children Must Be Present. The service is available daily 9:30am-11:30am.
All athletic events have been postponed by all 3 systems.

Tullahoma schools are also closed through March 31. Tullahoma will serve food to children ages 0-18 from 8:30am-9:30am and 11:30-1pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Serving will be conducted at John T Farrar, East Lincoln, Tullahoma High School and West Middle and Bel-Aire.
They’ll also serve at Tullahoma Village 8:30am and 11:30am. Southgate 8:45am and 11:45pm. Whispering Oaks 9:00am and Noon. Ada Ferrell 9:15am and 12:15pm. Briarwood Apts. 9:30am and 12:30pm. Eastgate 9:45am and 12:45pm. Dossett Apts. 10am and 1:00pm.
Children must be present to pick up food.

Other schools:
Warren Co., Franklin Co., Grundy Co. and Bedford Co. all closed through March 31
Rutherford Co., Murfreesboro City, Moore Co., Lincoln Co. and Cannon Co. all closed through April 3
