Coffee County hosted Franklin County Wednesday night after Franklin County won the matchup on Monday.
In the first of two District 6 4-A series between the two teams the Rebels won the first game 8-4. In the mid-week rematch the Raiders pulled out the 8-2 victory.
Coffee County jumped to an early lead in the first and never looked back. Caleb Moran, Jacob Holder, and Cole Bryce each drove in runs during the inning as the Raiders plated 5.
Aiden Robertson pitched a fantastic game by allowing only four hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 14 and walking one.
Holder went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Coffee County. Cole Pippenger and Brady Nugent two stolen bases each, as the Raiders seven total.
Eric Jones led Franklin County Rebels with two hits on the night.
Coffee County improved to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in District 6 4-A. Franklin dropped to 2-3 and 1-1. The teams will face each other again in a two-game series later this season.
The Raiders travel to Middle Tennessee Christian on Thursday with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
