In the first of two District 6 4-A series between the two teams the Rebels won the first game 8-4. In the mid-week rematch the Raiders pulled out the 8-2 victory.

Eric Jones led Franklin County Rebels with two hits on the night.

Coffee County improved to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in District 6 4-A. Franklin dropped to 2-3 and 1-1. The teams will face each other again in a two-game series later this season.

The Raiders travel to Middle Tennessee Christian on Thursday with the first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
