On Monday afternoon Coffee County’s high school golf teams played host to Lincoln County in boys and girls match at Willowbrook.
The Lady Falcons defeated the Lady Raiders by the slimmest of margins, 172-173. Addie Neal shot the low round with an 80 for Lincoln County and her teammate and sister Amie Neal carded a 92. Araya Hughes had the low score for Coffee County with an 86 followed by Cadie Prater who shot 87 over the 18 holes.
In the boys match the Red Raiders got past the Falcons 329-363. Coffee County was led by Jacob Holder who shot his best round of the year, a 78. Freshman Noah Costello got around the course in 83 shots followed by Beau Murray and Jackson Shemwell, each shooting 84’s. Lincoln County was led by Jackson Taylor win a 79 and Kyler Whaley with an 81. Caden Gentry carded a 101 and Cole Schneid shot 102.
