Coffee County Baseball Drops Close Game against Oakland

Coffee County’s baseball team fell to 1-3 on the year after a after a hard-fought game against Oakland on Saturday in the Grand Slam Classic in Rutherford County. The Patriots managed just one run but that was enough to slip past the Raiders.

Cole Pippenger, Jacob Sherrill and Carter McKenzie all had hits for Coffee County.

The Raiders travel to Franklin County on Monday and host Franklin County on Tuesday. Rooster 101.5 FM will be on hand for the broadcast of Tuesday’s action at Power’s Field.
