Coffee County basketball teams got heir seasons started on Friday night at home in Hall of Fame games.
In the girls play the Lady Raiders defeated Moore County 57-38.
Freshman Olivia Vinson led the team with 16 and Senior Elli Chumley added 14. On Friday afternoon Chumley signed to play college basketball at Freed-Hardeman University.
In boy’s action, Coffee County hit for 16 points as the Red Raiders knocked off Moore County 63-49.
On Saturday both Coffee County teams played two games.
The Lady Raiders got their second win of the year when the beat Monterey 68-35.
Junior Chloe Gannon led her team with 15 points her sister Freshman Channah Gannon chipped in with 13.
In the Lady Raiders’ second game of the day the Page Patriots were able to defeat Coffee County 50-41.
Chloe Gannon led the way again with 20 points as the Lady Raiders fell to 2-1 on the season.
In the doubleheader for the Red Raiders the boys got a win in game one against Monterey, 72-33.
Jahlin Osbourne pumped in 10 to lead the balanced Coffee County offense.
In game 2, the Red Raiders moved to 3-0 on the season as they defeated Lighthouse Christian, 66-46.
Dayne Crosslin led the Raiders with 13 points and Phineas Rollman contributed 12.
