Coffee County boys get past Gordonsville

In the final regular season game of the basketball of the year the Coffee County Red Raiders played host to the Gordonsville Tigers. This was a boys’ only contest at ‘The Patch’ in Manchester on Saturday afternoon.

The Raiders held a slim lead after the 1st quarter at 10-8 and then the Tigers got their outside game going to grad the lead at halftime, 22-18.

In the 3rd Coffee County got the inside game going with Trenton Scrivnor, who led the Raiders in scoring with 16 points. The outside game shot better with Hayden Hullett and Phineas Rollman hitting big buckets to tie the game at 33.

In the 4th the Crazy Daisies Player of the Game C.J. Anthony got hot as he scorched the nets for 11 final quarter points to lead the Raiders to a 53-44 W.
