Coffee County Elections set for August

We now know who all is running for office in the Manchester and Tullahoma city elections in August.
Manchester Mayor, incumbent Lonnie Norman Mayor of Manchester will face the same man he faced 4 years ago as Steven Jones will make another run for the mayor’s seat
Three current Manchester aldermen will seek reelection: Bob Bellamy, Ryan French and Chris Elam. The three incumbents will run along with three others for the 3 seats: Tammie Fuller, Donny Parsley and James Threet.
For Manchester City School Board – Susan Parsley and Lee Sullivan are the only two candidates for two slots.
In Tullahoma Mayor Lane Curlee is not seeking reelection. Current Alderman Daniel Berry along with Ray Knowis and Karl Smithson are running for the mayor’s job.
For Tullahoma Aldermen, 2 seats are open with candidates Jenna Amacher, Robin Dunn, Brooke Shasteen and Ashli Collinsworth Shockley running.
Tullahoma School Board has 5 candidates running for 3 slots: Amy Dodson, Gigi Robison, Kim Uselton, Pat Welch and Sid Hill.
Only one candidate each will run for the 2 available seats on the Coffee County School seats 1 and 5. No candidate qualified for seat 7. For seat one, incumbent Gary Nester is running for reelection. Shannon Duncan has decided to not run for seat 5, but Robert Gilley will run for that seat.
District 47 Tennessee State Representative Rush Bricken is seeking re-election in the Republican state primary. Ronnie Holden, of Tullahoma, has chosen to make a run at Bricken’s seat in the primary. District 16 State Senator Janice Bowling is facing no competition.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
