Coffee County goes 3-1 in Knoxville Tournament

Competing in a tournament in Knoxville the Coffee County Lady Raider softball team finished with a record of 3-1.

In game 1 the Lady Raiders defeated Hardin Academy 12-2. Cheyenne Vickers homered in the game and knocked in 3. Jalyn Moran also had 3 RBI. Katelyn Anderson was the winning pitcher.

Game 2: Coffee County scored 13 runs in the first inning and added 4 more in the second to beat Hendersonville 17-0. Channah Gannon had a grand-slam and 5 RBI. Paisley Campbell added 2 hits and 3 RBI. Samantha Cothran picked up the win in the circle.

Game 3: The Lady Raiders trailed by one run in the final inning, but Soddy Daisy commit an error that allowed Coffee County to win, 4-3. Kaitlyn Davis singled, knocked in a run and was the winning pitcher.

Game 4: The Lady Raiders dropped their game to Knoxville’s Powell Lady Panthers 8-2. Chesnie Cox had 2 hits for Coffee County.

The Lady Raiders will host Tullahoma on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. You can hear the action on The Rooster 101.5 FM.
