Coffee County High School Theatre Students Attend Workshop at TPAC

Three Coffee County High School students, Lindsey Landrum, Kohen West, and Alyssa Freeze, represented CHS at the Outstanding Lead Nominees Intensive Workshop and Auditions hosted by Spotlight Awards/TPAC this past weekend.

They were nominated for this opportunity for their roles in “Once Upon a Mattress,” directed by Jonathan Higdon. At the intensive, they had the chance to work with several professionals in the theatre industry and collaborate with other Outstanding Lead Nominees from schools around the state.

These students will perform in the closing number of the Spotlight Awards hosted at TPAC on May 13, 2023. Coffee County CHS was also nominated for Outstanding Small Ensemble and had nominees in the categories of Outstanding Supportive Performer (Nate Luttrell) and Outstanding Comedic Performer (Kohen West), as well as earning recognition for All-Star Cast (Cassandra Douglas & Kohen West) and All-Star Crew (Ren Martell & Alex Delmar).
