Coffee County Lady Raiders Win JV Tournament on Saturday

Coffee County Lady Raider Basketball hosted a JV (junior varsity) tournament on Saturday at Joe Frank Patch Memorial Gymnasium.

The Lady Raider JV team defeated the Franklin County Reblettes in the semifinals, 50-31, to earn a berth in the championship.

Addi Sartain led Coffee County in scoring with 10 points. Ella Arnold added 8, Bryleigh Gray and Ava McIntosh scored 6 points each, and Morgen Spears chipped with 2.

The Lady Raiders took on Page High School Lady Patriots in the championship game.

In a defensive-led game, Coffee County was able to get past Page 26-19 and collect the championship trophy.

Ava McIntosh led the Lady Raiders with 8 points, all coming in the second half. Ella Arnold had another solid game with 7, followed by Audri Patton with 4, and Bryleigh Gray with 3 points. Morgen Spears and Addi Sartain helped Coffee County with 2 points each.

Ava McIntosh was named the tournament’s most valuable player, and Audri Patton, Bryleigh Gray, and Addi Sartain were all-tournament selections.
