Coffee County Softball Drops Game to Siegel; Play again Thursday on Rooster 101.5

The Coffee County Lady Raiders fell behind early on Wednesday night in Murfreesboro and dropped a 2-0 decision to the Siegel Lady Stars.

Siegel Varsity Lady Stars scored on a sacrifice fly by Bri Allen and an error in the first inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Mackenzie Ventura was the winning pitcher for Siegel. She lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and striking out 14. Katelyn Anderson took the tough loss for the Lady Raiders. Anderson allowed only three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out three and walking one.

A single by Jalyn Moran in the seventh inning was the only offense for Coffee County as the Lady Raiders fell to 12-5 on the season.

Coffee County will host Shelbyville on Thursday at 7 PM. Hear the action on The Rooster 101.5, www.rooster1015.com, or the Rooster 101.5 app.
