Coffee County Softball Players Earn Post-Season Honors

Head Coach Brandon McWhorter announced on Wednesday that recent graduated Coffee County Lady Raider softball players Keri Munn and Justus Turner have been selected by the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association to play in the TSCA All-Star Game.

The game will be held June 17 at Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro.

In other Coffee County softball team news Junior Catcher Kiya Ferrell and Sophomore Kaitlyn Davis have both been named to the Tennessee Softball Coaches Association All-State Team.

Ferrell was one of the top hitters on the state runner-up team with a batting average of .466. She led Coffee County in runs scored with 47 and in hits with 53.

Kaitlyn Davis rounds third after a long homerun during the 2021 season.

Davis set a single-season home run record for the Lady Raider program with 13 and also set the record for RBI with 48.
