It was only a 2-point game at halftime, but the Coffee County Lady Raiders got hot shooting and solid defense to beat the 10th ranked Lady Pioneers of Warren County on Friday.
The 9th ranked Lady Raiders led 18-16 at halftime and came out in the 3rd red-hot as they outscored Warren County by 15 or their way to a District 6-AAAA 54-40 win in McMinnville.
Junior Jalie Ruehling led Coffee County with 18 points and Senior Elli Chumley added 15.
The Lady Raiders picked up their 13th win in a row and moved to 16-3 overall and 2-0 in district play.

Coffee County got a big night from Dayne Crosslin as they defeated Warren County 50-28.
Crosslin pumped in 19 points to help the Raiders push their overall mark to 10-7 and lift Coffee County’s district record to 1-1.
