Coffee Middle Basketball Takes Both Games

Coffee Middle School basketball made the trip to Shelbyville to take on Harris Middle School on Monday.  The Lady Raiders opened the night with a 37-14 victory led by Sophie McInturff fired in 15 points and Olivia Vinson added 8.  The Lady Raiders are now 6-1 on the season.  In boys action, despite being down a couple of players the Red Raiders pounded Harris 40-16.  The Raiders took a commanding lead into the locker room at the half 25-3.  Cole Pippenger led all scorers with 19.  Coach Oliver was able to go to his bench for most of the 4^th quarter. The boys are now 4-1 on the year.   Both teams will be in action again on Thursday at Sparta.
