Coronavirus Confirmed Cases Up to 100 in Tennessee

As of 3pm Wednesday afternoon the Tennessee Department of Health reports 100 cases of the coronavirus in Tennessee. Davidson County has the most cases with 58 followed by Williamson County with 24. This report was after Hamilton County reported 2 more confirmed cases for a total of 3.
In the latest information concerning the virus, digestive symptoms may be more common in coronavirus infections than previously thought, with a small study released Wednesday finding that symptoms such as diarrhea and a loss of appetite were the “chief complaint” in nearly half of more than 200 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
Most patients with COVID-19 have a mild respiratory illness including fever, cough and shortness of breath. The Tennessee Department of Health strongly encourages Tennesseans to wash your hands often with soap and water and to not touch your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
High-risk individuals are defined as adults over 60 years old or people of any age with serious chronic medical conditions such as: Heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease.
