COVID-19 Active Cases Dropping

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed 1,936 additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Wednesday, August 26. The health department reported 1,936 new cases, bringing the state to 147,353 total cases.

TDH also confirmed 20 additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,648 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 109,765 have recovered. Tennessee currently has 35,940 active cases.

*Bedford County: 14 died; 1,076 confirmed/probable cases; 819 recovered; 243 active cases

*Cannon County: 0 died; 187 confirmed/probable cases; 141 recovered; 46 active cases

*Coffee County: 6 died: 725 confirmed/probable cases; 441 recovered; 278 active cases

*Franklin County: 4 died; 444 confirmed/probable; 317 recovered; 123 active cases.

*Grundy County: 2 died; 143 confirmed/probable; 108 recovered; 33 active cases

*Lincoln County: 1 died; 391 confirmed/probable; 245 recovered; 145 active cases.

*Moore County: 0 died; 86 confirmed/probable; 49 recovered; 37 active cases.

*Rutherford County: 67 died; 7,620 confirmed/probable; 5,343 recovered; 2,210 active cases.

*Warren County: 7 died; 780 confirmed/probable; 484 recovered; 289 active cases.
