COVID-19 Case Count as of Sunday May 17

The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, May 17. The health department reported 100 new cases, bring the state to a total of 17,388 cases, a 1% day-to-day increase since Friday.

TDH also confirmed three additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 298 total deaths.

Out of the confirmed positive cases, 9,652 have recovered, which means Tennessee has 7,438 active cases.

*Bedford County: 4 died; 252 confirmed cases; 181 recovered; 2,056 negative tests

*Coffee County: 0 died: 60 confirmed cases; 38 recovered; 1,768 negative tests

*Franklin County: 1 died; 43 confirmed; 35 recovered; 1,726 negative tests

*Grundy County: 1 died; 30 confirmed; 26 recovered; 414 negative tests

*Lincoln County: 0 died; 16 confirmed; 15 recovered; 1,010 negative tests

*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 3 recovered; 253 negative tests

*Rutherford County: 19 died; 847 confirmed; 363 recovered; 8,769 negative tests

*Warren County: 0 died; 15 confirmed; 10 recovered; 1,401 negative tests
