Covid-19 Cases Nears 2,000 in Tennessee

The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee continues to go up and no sign of coming down anytime soon. The case count is up to 1,917 confirmed cases, including 14 people that have died in Tennessee. Over 37,000 people have died across the globe.
On Target News numbers are taken from Johns Hopkins University and Medicine, the CDC and others.
The Tennessee Department of Health said there have been at least 148 hospitalizations.
Below is a breakdown of the cases, using numbers from both TDH and local health departments in our coverage area:

Cannon County – 3
Coffee County – 1
Franklin County – 5
Grundy County – 2
Lincoln County – 1
Rutherford County – 57
Warren County– 1
Resident of another state/country: 192 in Tennessee
Pending: 101 in Tennessee
