The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases and deaths related to COVID-19 across the state on Saturday, August 1. The health department reported 2,225 new cases giving the state a new total of 108,184.
TDH also confirmed seven additional deaths, bringing Tennessee up to 1,067 total deaths.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 67,651 have recovered, an increase of 1,294 recoveries.
As of Saturday afternoon, Tennessee has 39,466 active cases.
*Bedford County: 10 died; 851 confirmed/probable cases; 615 recovered; 226 active cases
*Cannon County: 0 died; 115 confirmed/probable cases; 65 recovered; 50 active cases
*Coffee County: 2 died: 395 confirmed/probable cases; 174 recovered; 219 active cases
*Franklin County: 4 died; 271 confirmed/probable; 144 recovered; 123 active cases.
*Grundy County: 2 died; 98 confirmed/probable; 67 recovered; 29 active cases
*Lincoln County: 1 died; 250 confirmed/probable; 119 recovered; 130 active cases.
*Moore County: 0 died; 43 confirmed/probable; 29 recovered; 14 active cases
*Rutherford County: 51 died; 5,999 confirmed/probable; 3,181 recovered; 2,767 active cases.
*Warren County: 4 died; 393 confirmed/probable; 192 recovered; 197 active cases
