Deceased Dog Owners being sought in Bedford County

Bedford County Animal Control is looking for the owners of two deceased dogs.

Dog 1: was thrown over the bridge into the Duck River on Saturday (9/19/2020) near the water treatment plant at Halls Mill. The dog was wrapped in a black material and duct taped. The intact male dog was black and white in color. It was herding breed dog (Border Collie/Aussie) 

Dog 2: was located on 82 S just before the bridge outside of Shelbyville city limits near Tollgate Road. The dog was black in color, Retriever type wearing red collar. The dog was wrapped in white American Buildings Company material, written on the wrap was Shelbyville, TN 1387.

A necropsy will be done to determine the cause of deaths for these animals.
