Two people from Decherd are each facing a charge of second-degree murder in the death of their child.
Allison Hall and Aaron McCutcheon were indicted Thursday for allegedly giving their child illegal drugs that led to the 4 month old girl’s death.
Hall is facing 5 charges and McCutcheon has eight counts against him. Charges range from second-degree murder, drug distribution, child neglect/abuse (2 counts McCutcheon), child endangerment, reckless endangerment (2 counts McCutcheon), resisting arrest (McCutcheon), contributing to the dependency of a child.
According to the indictment, the parents are accused of giving methamphetamine to their child, Breezy McCutcheon, which caused her to die in January 2018.
According to court documents, two other children are listed in the indictment as well. It states the parents apparently exposed another child to drugs and put a third child in extreme danger.
Hall is being held on a $180,000 bond and McCutcheon on a $245,000 bond. Both are being held in the Franklin County Jail.
