The Sewanee Police Department, with assistance from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, made an arrest on the University of the South campus on Thursday.
The Sheriff’s Office employed a detection dog in Trezevant Hall, where the dog “alerted” outside one room. A quantity of multiple illegal drugs constituting felony possession was found in that room and the student possessing them was arrested.
No other rooms or residence halls were searched. No names were released.
