Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday

The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday, October 23, 2021. It’s a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

The Tullahoma Police Department, Anti-Drug Coalition, and Walmart have partnered together for this event. Together they want to provide an additional resource for citizens to dispose of unused or expired medication(s). The event will take place at Walmart on North Jackson Street from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 23, 2021.

If you would like to dispose of medications any other time, the Tullahoma Police Department has a permanent drop box located in the lobby area of the Police Department 24 hours a day 365 days a year. They will not be able to take any liquids or syringes.
