Hickerson Station Volunteer Fire Department and Tullahoma Fire Department worked together on Tuesday to extinguish a metal shredder fire at CFC Recycling located on Hwy 55.
The fire departments saved the equipment from receiving significant damage but will need minor repairs.
The CFC emergency response plan also a pivotal role in helping emergency responders.
No injuries were reported.
