Escapee from Alabama Captured in Franklin County, TN

Jeremy Taylor escaped from the Morgan County, Alabama, detention facility on March 5^th, 2023. He was captured that night in a tent located in Franklin County, TN.

Taylor was awaiting trial on the following charges:

-Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance

-Rape X2

-Burglary X3

-Kidnapping

-Sodomy X2

Deputies in Franklin County had learned that Taylor was in a tent on Robinson Creek Road. Sergeant Kason Bolin, Deputy Cord Buckner, Deputy Eli Neyman, Deputy Scottie Riddle, Deputy Robbie Wilkinson, and K-9 Roku surrounded the tent. The escapee was taken into custody without further incident.

Taylor will now face an additional charge of escape 2nd degree in Alabama.
