Five Red Raider Wrestlers Qualify for Sectionals

The Coffee County boys’ wrestling team took 11 wrestlers to the Region 4AA Individual Tournament on Saturday. Five Raiders qualified for the Sectional Tournament on February 18. They finished in 4th place as a team.

The Lady Raider wrestlers will compete in the Region 2 Tournament Friday (Feb. 17), with the top 4 girls in each weight class advancing to state. The Red Raiders guys will wrestle at Howard High School in Chattanooga on Saturday in the sectional round for their chance at going to the TSSAA State Championship.

Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
